🔧 Which boiler brands do you fit?
We fit Ideal, Vaillant, Worcester Bosch and Baxi. During your survey or online quote, we’ll recommend the best brand for your budget and requirements.
🏠 What type of boiler do I need – combi, system or regular?
The right boiler type depends on your property size, the number of bathrooms and your hot water demand. Combi boilers are ideal for smaller homes with one or two bathrooms. System boilers suit larger properties with higher simultaneous hot water demand. Regular boilers are often the best replacement option in older properties with existing cylinder infrastructure. We’ll advise you on the right type during your free survey.
💷 What is included in the installation price?
All new boiler installations include the boiler unit, all labour, a horizontal flue and full system commissioning. We also register your manufacturer’s warranty on your behalf. Vertical flue work (through a loft or roof) is available at an additional cost of £500–£600.
💳 Do you offer finance for new boilers?
We do not currently offer finance or monthly payment plans for boiler installations.
⏱️ How long does a new boiler installation take?
Most like-for-like combi swaps are completed in a single day. More complex conversions – or work involving a new central heating system – may take longer. We’ll give you a clear timeframe when you receive your quote.
💷 How much does a boiler service cost?
Boiler servicing at Heat Pros starts from £95. We are not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
📅 How often should I have my boiler serviced?
Your boiler should be serviced every 12 months by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Annual servicing keeps your boiler running safely and efficiently, maintains your manufacturer’s warranty and helps catch any minor issues before they become costly problems.
🛡️ Do I need to service a new boiler?
Yes. Most boiler manufacturers require annual servicing to keep the warranty valid. Even a brand-new boiler should be serviced each year from the first 12 months onwards.
🔍 What does a boiler service include?
During a service, our engineer will inspect and clean key components, check gas pressure and flue integrity, test for carbon monoxide leakage and verify that the boiler is operating safely and efficiently within the manufacturer’s specifications.

🌀 What is a powerflush and do I need one?
A powerflush is a deep clean of your central heating system using specialist chemicals and high-pressure water flow. It removes the sludge, rust and limescale that accumulates in radiators and pipework over time. If your radiators have cold patches, your heating is slow to warm up or you’re replacing a boiler in an older system, a powerflush is strongly recommended.
💷 How much does a powerflush cost?
Powerflushing at Heat Pros starts from £495 for up to 8 radiators. Additional radiators are charged at £50 each.
⏱️ How long does a powerflush take?
A powerflush typically takes a full day, depending on the size of the system and the amount of debris present.
🛡️ Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. All our engineers are Gas Safe registered and qualified to work on gas boilers and heating systems. You can verify our Gas Safe registration details at any time.
